International Labour's Day

International Labour Day Celebration at Saras Heritage School
Saras Heritage School celebrated International Labour Day with great enthusiasm and
purpose. The event highlighted the importance of workers and community helpers who play
a vital role in our everyday lives. To mark the occasion students of Foundational stage
participated in a special activity where they dressed up and performed as their favourite
community helpers, such as doctors, teachers, army men.
The children enthusiastically took the stage expressing their appreciation for the tireless
efforts of these everyday heroes through short speeches and Role-plays.
The students of grade 3 onwards also expressed their thoughts about International Labour
Day by having a talk session with their classmates and teachers.
The celebration not only fostered a sense of respect and gratitude in the young minds but
also helped them understand the dignity of labour and the importance of every profession
in society.
