Diwali Celebrations at Saras Heritage School
Festival of Lights!

Our school celebrated the joyous festival of Diwali with great fervor and enthusiasm! The students put up a special assembly on Ramleela, showcasing their talents and sharing the significance of this auspicious occasion.

The assembly began with a captivating retelling of the Ramayana, bringing to life the triumph of good over evil. Students dressed in traditional attire, skillfully enacted the roles of Rama, Sita, Lakshmana and Ravana, captivating the audience with their performances. The highlight of the assembly was the dramatic reenactment of the Ram-Ravan battle, leaving the audience cheering for the victory of Rama.

The craft room was abuzz with creativity as students made beautiful diyas, lanterns and hangings using paper, clay and other materials. The students' work added a touch of festive charm to the classrooms and corridors, spreading the Diwali spirit far and wide.

The students showcased their artistic talents by creating vibrant rangoli designs using coloured powder  and flowers. The intricate patterns and designs not only added to the festive ambiance but also highlighted the rich cultural heritage of India.

Diwali is a time for reflection, renewal and rejoicing. It reminds us of the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance. At Saras Heritage School, we strive to imbibe these values and spread the message of love, kindness and compassion.
