Dusshera Celebrations

*Dusshera at Saras Heritage School* 

Dusshera is a fantastic opportunity to engage kids in fun and educational activities that teach them about the triumph of good over evil.Children of all grades enjoyed drawing sessions where they enthusiastically participated and created vibrant artworks inspired by the Ramayana. They drew scenes from the epic, including Lord Rama, Sita and Ravana, showcasing their creativity and understanding of the story.
Pre Nursery students had  a blast making hand puppets of Ravana, using colourful materials and their imagination. This activity helped develop their fine motor skills and encouraged teamwork and creativity.
 Grades 1 and 2 kids gathered around to watch and listen to stories from the Ramayana, narrated in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. This helped them understand the significance of Dussehra and the values of kindness, truth and bravery.

These activities not only kept the kids entertained but also taught them valuable lessons about Indian culture and traditions.
